The device allows for the tractor to be lifted safely from behind for removal of the rear wheels, thus allowing free access to the main mechanical and electronic components, usually installed below the control cabin of the tractor. The special shape of the brackets of the device connected to the tractor also allows for the testing of all the movements of the rear lifting system and hydraulic outlets. Background The maintenance or repair of agricultural tractors requires the removal of the rear wheels due to the location of the components below the driver’s cabin, making it difficult to manage the tractor itself. This difficulty is also encountered during the washing of the mechanical and electronic parts. Technology The technology used, of a simple design, involves the use of a hydraulic system equipped with two double action jacks. The jacks, connected to the main and secondary frames of the machine, allow for the lowering of the axle equipped with wheels, which, upon reaching the ground, provides a secure support with the lifting of the tractor connected to the machine. Advantages and Applications The main advantage is a considerable reduction in the maintenance and repair times for tractors. At the same time, there is also the possibility of moving the dismantled tractor from one workstation to another without the requirement for carriages or lifting equipment in general. Development stage The invention, initially realized in a single fully functional prototype, has been completely engineered and has now passed to the production phase in series with the subsequent marketing of the product. 43
