This addresses the <strong>emerging vision<\/strong> of the Future Internet as a global platform for <strong>integrated networking & computing.<\/strong><br\/><br\/>\r\n\r\n<strong>Specialization includes:<\/strong> (i) mobile communication technologies for 5G and Internet measurements; (ii) novel NGI network paradigms; (iii) IoT for industrial Internet in the <strong>NGI area<\/strong>; (i) virtualization and cloud computing, (ii) edge computing and (iii) heterogeneous parallel computing in the <strong>HPC area<\/strong>; (i) formal methods, (ii) end-user SW development, (iii) agent-based systems; (iv) testing, monitoring, modelling and verification techniques for the <strong>SW area<\/strong>.\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-b98f459 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"b98f459\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-d2a367b\" data-id=\"d2a367b\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-599c60e elementor-widget elementor-widget-html\" data-id=\"599c60e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"html.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<strong><u>Scientific Impact\/Results:<\/u><\/strong> Results will impact on the international research in all the three areas.<br\/><br\/>\r\n\r\nThe <strong>NGI area<\/strong> will impact with novel technologies for 5G networks, and novel networking paradigms. Special impact is expected in the Industrial Internet. The <strong>HPC area<\/strong> will impact with novel cloud\/HPC architectures and technologies, including mobile devices at the edge of the network.
