The fourth call<\/b>\u00a0for applications to RISEnergy Transnational Access is now open.\"Fourth<\/p>\n

The RISEnergy project provides industrial and academic researchers with\u00a0free transnational access<\/b>\u00a0to a selection of leading European and international research facilities in the following fields: Photovoltaics (PV); Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) \/ Solar Thermal Electricity (STE); Hydrogen; Biofuels; Wind Energy; Ocean Energy; Integrated Grids and Energy Storage; Materials Research; and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Through this project, the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) offers access to its\u00a0research infrastructures<\/b>\u00a0free of charge.<\/p>\n

Calls for access are typically launched twice a year, in March and September. The final call is scheduled to be launched in September 2027<\/p>\n

The project fosters research and innovation across these fields by providing access to its infrastructures through a competitive selection process based on scientific merit, relevance, and peer-review assessment.<\/p>\n

Within this framework, several institutes of the Italian National Research Council (CNR) make available a broad array of research infrastructures, enabling scientists to conduct research activities free of charge and to participate in international collaborations designed to speed up technological innovation.<\/p>\n

Building on the success of previous calls, which attracted a large number of new participants from both academia and industry, the initiative has already delivered notable scientific achievements and encouraged the development of new professional networks among research teams. These collaborations have contributed to strengthening the European research landscape by facilitating knowledge exchange and laying the groundwork for more efficient and impactful scientific advances.<\/p>\n

Through this open call, RISEnergy continues to support cooperation, knowledge dissemination, and the establishment of long-term partnerships, all of which play a key role in advancing clean energy technologies and enhancing scientific excellence across Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n
